ACS with Work-Study Combination Optimization Project
The ACS in P&C insurance optimization project is:
- An 11-month work/study combination program;
- A qualifying diploma awarded at the end of the course;
- 27 students;
- 3 Cégeps: Lévis, Sainte-Foy, and Beauce-Appalaches;
- 7 member companies from different industry sectors: belairdirect, Cuierrier et associés, Desjardins Groupe d’assurances générales, Lussier Dale Parizeau, PMT Roy, SSQ, and Wawanesa.
To conduct this pilot project, the Coalition is recognized as a collective promoter and awards a grant of $582,918.
The program began on January 18, 2021, with 13 candidates from within the companies. They had the opportunity to benefit from a portion of the course in achievements and skills recognition. The other 14 candidates came from an external recruitment process. This was a great way for them to put both feet in the field through professional training. The program ended in December 2021.
